 Garden of Ireland

Todays Date:

Garden of Ireland Known as the Garden of Ireland, Wicklow is a country of many landscapes, a place where indigenous Irish forests still thrive, fields of crops are enclosed within miles of hedgerow, cottages nestle beside colourful gardens, mountains hide picturesque lakes and the sea laps onto sandy beaches. It is here in Wicklow where Fragrances of Ireland has been based for over twenty years and here we are inspired to create this new range.

The Wicklow countryside has been the inspiration for our new ‘Garden of Ireland’ collection. We have created our own ‘field of dreams’ within the valley where we grow and harvest our own lavender. Beehives line the field while the hedgerows are filled with blackberries. Rose bushes, eucalyptus tress and rosemary have also been planted, the surrounding woods are carpeted with moss while heather covers the Sugarloaf Mountain that shelters us from sea breezes.

Only the finest ingredients have been used in creating this collection. Each scent has its own personality and story to tell. Soaps and bath salts have been wrapped in linen which can also be used as a gentle exfoliator.

The product range consists of soaps, guest soaps, bath salts, body whip, hand cream, shower gel, solid colognes and lavender sachets. Many items are boxed and finished with a colourful ribbon.

Each scent has been chosen as it encapsulates someone’s memory of Wicklow: the harvesting of our lavender fields in July; heading out with buckets to collect the wild blackberries growing on the hedgerows; the magnificent rose gardens in grand old houses and the magic of being there as the dew glistens in the sunlight; climbing the Sugarloaf and lying out on the carpet of heather and moss at the peak; freshly made lemonade, not too sweet, that quenches your thirst after a day’s adventuring; picking apples in the orchards and then making apple pie……
